The Party Wall Act (The Act) is a piece of legislation that regulates development on or close to a boundary between neighbouring properties. Our Building Surveyors are experienced in working within The Act and will guide your through the process; whether you need to serve notice on your neighbours because you propose to develop on or within the shared boundary, or if you’ve received a notice and would like independent advice on how to protect your interests.

Our Chartered Surveyors have experience in acting for both parties for commercial and residential properties.

Schedules of Condition:

We have experience of working for both landlords and tenants preparing Schedules of Condition to be attached to lease agreements. These reports accurately document the condition of a leased property. Having a schedule of condition can limit the repairing liabilities of a tenant prior to entering a new lease agreement. Alternatively, a Schedule of Condition can support a landlord’s claim that damage has been caused by the tenant during the term of the lease. Our Schedules of Condition include photographs and detailed descriptions to provide accurate evidence of the condition of property.
